Donation & Volunteering Opportunities

  • Zebra Youth

The Zebra Coalition was created to support the growing number of LGBTQ+ youth facing homelessness, bullying, abuse, and family rejection. It brings together schools, service groups, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations to provide essential resources such as emergency shelter, counseling, basic necessities, and emotional support. Since becoming operational in 2011, the Coalition has helped young people navigate crises like homelessness, abuse, substance issues, and abandonment. Today, it remains the only organization in Central Florida offering a full continuum of care specifically for LGBTQ+ youth.

  • Habitat For Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is a global movement of people working together to create stronger, more vibrant communities by ensuring everyone has a safe and affordable place to call home. Since its founding in 1976, the organization has helped more than 62 million people build their futures through access to stable housing. They partner with individuals and families from all walks of life to build, repair, and finance homes, while also advocating for policies that improve housing access. Together, Habitat continues to build homes, communities, and hope.

  • The Ulmer Fund

This charity was inspired by the founder’s father, Richard Ulmer, who taught his family the importance of giving by delivering Christmas trees, decorations, dinner, and gifts to families in need. What began as a grassroots effort among friends has grown into a community tradition that has supported hundreds of children each year—reaching as many as 220 kids in its biggest season. The organization now partners with teachers and administrators at Howard Middle School and ACE in downtown Orlando to identify families who need support, and volunteers deliver gifts, meals, and holiday essentials every Christmas Eve. Entirely volunteer-run, every dollar raised goes directly to helping local families.
